Cpl. Bryant “B.J.” Luxmore is coming home today.
The body of the 25-year-old New Windsor, Ill., native is scheduled to arrive at the Quad-City International Airport in Moline at 11:40 a.m., said Terry Hicks, Illinois senior ride captain of the Patriot Guard Riders.
Hicks said the Patriot Guard Riders will escort Luxmore and his family to Aledo.
The procession will go east on Indian Bluff Road, then south on U.S. 150 to Illinois 17. It will follow Illinois 17 west to Aledo, where it will stop at Central Park.
After a brief welcome, the procession will end at Dennison Funeral Home in Viola.
Hicks said those wishing to pay their respects should gather along the procession route. Supporters, he said, are better seen by the family along the route rather than in the actual procession.
