The New Kingdom Trailriders, a nonprofit organization that offers therapeutic horseback riding to people with disabilities, will host its 2012 Ride-a-Thon from 5:45-8:30 p.m. June 25-28 at Schone’s Friendship Farm, 15711 13th St., Milan, Ill. Guests are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization’s riders. Riders will be riding for pledges to help offset care of NKT’s horses. T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats will be sold during the event, which will also feature a bouncy house. The organization will celebrate its oldest therapy horse’s birthday this year.
